Community Guidelines

We're committed to maintaining a welcoming, respectful environment for all players.

Agreement to These Guidelines: By participating in the BestUKCasualGamesHub community — including using our platform, engaging in forums, posting comments, or interacting with other players in any way — you agree to these guidelines. These rules apply to all community members equally, regardless of how long they have been part of the community.

Our Community Philosophy

BestUKCasualGamesHub was built on the belief that great entertainment is best enjoyed together. Our community spans thousands of players across the UK and beyond, united by a shared love of social gaming. We want every person who joins our platform to feel genuinely welcomed, respected, and safe.

These guidelines are not a list of restrictions. They are an expression of the values that make our community worth being part of. We trust our players to treat one another as they would wish to be treated, and we ask everyone to help us maintain the standard that makes BestUKCasualGamesHub a community players are proud to call their own.

1. Respect Every Player

Treat every member of the BestUKCasualGamesHub community with dignity and courtesy, regardless of their username, skill level, preferred game, background, or opinion. Disagreements and differences of perspective are a natural part of any community — what matters is how we handle them.

Respectful behaviour includes:

  • Being polite and constructive in forum posts and discussions.
  • Accepting feedback and criticism gracefully, whether from other players or the moderation team.
  • Congratulating other players on their achievements, even when you are competing against them on the leaderboard.
  • Using inclusive language that does not exclude or demean any group of people.

If you disagree with another player's strategy, opinion, or approach, express that disagreement calmly and constructively. Personal attacks, insults, and condescension have no place here.

2. Age Requirement

Participation in BestUKCasualGamesHub is strictly limited to adults aged 18 and over. This is a firm, non-negotiable requirement and is enforced at the point of entry to the platform via our age verification step.

Any member found to be under the age of 18, or found to have assisted a minor in gaining access to the platform, will be permanently removed from the community without warning. If you have reason to believe that a minor has gained access to the platform, please report this to the moderation team immediately using the reporting procedure described in Section 9 of these guidelines.

This age requirement exists to protect young people and to ensure our platform is used responsibly by its intended adult audience.

3. No Real-Money Discussion

BestUKCasualGamesHub is a free social gaming platform. Virtual credits used on this site have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money. Discussion of real-money gambling — including strategies for real-money casinos, tips for depositing or withdrawing from gambling sites, or attempts to monetise virtual credits — is not permitted in our community spaces.

Specifically prohibited under this section:

  • Posting links to or promoting real-money gambling sites or apps.
  • Attempting to sell, trade, or claim monetary value for virtual credits earned on this platform.
  • Encouraging other players to gamble with real money anywhere.
  • Posting referral codes or promotional links for gambling platforms.

Violations of this rule will result in immediate removal of the offending content and may result in account suspension. We take this seriously because the separation of our platform from real-money gambling is fundamental to who we are.

4. Fair Play

Our community thrives on genuine competition and the shared satisfaction of a well-played game. We ask all players to commit to fair play at all times.

Fair play on BestUKCasualGamesHub means:

  • No cheating or exploiting: If you discover a bug or unintended behaviour in any of our games, please report it to the team via the Help Center rather than exploiting it. Using software tools, scripts, or automation to manipulate game outcomes is strictly prohibited.
  • Honest leaderboard participation: The weekly leaderboard should reflect genuine gameplay. Any attempt to artificially inflate scores, exploit technical loopholes, or manipulate leaderboard results will result in disqualification and potential suspension.
  • Credit integrity: Attempting to exploit the credit refill system in ways not intended by the platform design is a breach of fair play.

Fair play is about more than following rules — it is about making the competition meaningful and rewarding for everyone involved.

5. No Harassment

BestUKCasualGamesHub has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind. Every player has the right to participate in this community free from intimidation, abuse, and unwanted attention.

Zero-Tolerance Behaviours — these will result in immediate and permanent removal:
  • Targeted harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any player, including in private messages, forum posts, or comments.
  • Discriminatory language or behaviour based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Threats of violence or harm, whether directed at individuals or groups.
  • Sexual harassment of any kind, including unsolicited explicit messages or comments.
  • Doxxing — the sharing of another person's private or identifying information without their consent.
  • Sustained targeted campaigns against a specific player or group of players.

There are no exceptions to this policy. A first offence involving any of the above behaviours will result in permanent suspension from the platform and community.

6. Responsible Gaming

Even though BestUKCasualGamesHub involves no real money, we believe it is important for all players to maintain a healthy relationship with gaming. We encourage all community members to be mindful of the time they spend on the platform.

Healthy gaming habits include:

  • Taking regular breaks and not allowing gaming to interfere with work, study, relationships, or physical wellbeing.
  • Approaching the games as a form of entertainment, not as a way to replicate the experience of real-money gambling.
  • Being aware of how you feel while playing — gaming should be enjoyable, not stressful or compulsive.

If you are concerned about your gaming habits or those of someone you know, our Responsible Gaming page provides links to professional support organisations. Please do not hesitate to reach out to these resources — seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Within the community, we ask that players do not pressure others to play more, mock players for taking breaks, or glorify excessive or compulsive play patterns.

7. Content Standards

All content posted in BestUKCasualGamesHub community spaces — including forum posts, comments, usernames, and profile information — must meet the following content standards:

  • No adult or explicit content: This is an 18+ platform, but that does not mean sexually explicit content is appropriate. Keep all content suitable for a professional adult environment.
  • No spam: Do not post repetitive messages, unsolicited promotions, or off-topic content designed to draw attention or traffic elsewhere.
  • No misinformation: Do not deliberately spread false information about the platform, virtual credits, or other players. If you are sharing strategy tips, be honest about what is proven versus speculative.
  • No illegal content: Do not share content that infringes copyright, promotes illegal activities, or violates any applicable law.
  • Appropriate usernames: Usernames must not contain offensive terms, slurs, or impersonations of other users or public figures.

We reserve the right to remove any content that we determine, in our sole discretion, does not meet these standards.

8. Moderation

The BestUKCasualGamesHub moderation team works to keep this community safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for all members. We reserve the right to take any of the following actions at our discretion:

  • Remove, edit, or restrict any content that violates these guidelines or that we deem harmful to the community.
  • Issue warnings to players whose behaviour approaches but does not yet cross the line into a severe violation.
  • Temporarily suspend community access for players who have committed moderate violations.
  • Permanently ban players who commit severe violations or who persist in moderate violations after warnings have been issued.

Moderation decisions are made in good faith, with the wellbeing of the broader community as the primary consideration. If you believe a moderation action was applied to you in error, you may appeal by contacting us through the Help Center. We will review appeals fairly, but our decision following appeal review is final.

9. Reporting

Keeping this community safe is a shared responsibility. If you witness behaviour that violates these guidelines, please report it rather than engaging with it directly.

How to report a violation:

  • Use the report button available on forum posts and comments to flag content directly.
  • Contact the moderation team through the Help Center with a description of the issue, the username of the player involved (if known), and any relevant context or screenshots.

All reports are reviewed by a member of the moderation team. We treat all reports confidentially and do not share the identity of the reporting player with the player being reported. We ask that the reporting function be used in good faith — false reports made to harass other players are themselves a violation of these guidelines.

Consequences of Violations

Depending on the severity and nature of a guidelines violation, consequences may include:

  • Warning: A formal notification that the behaviour in question is in breach of these guidelines and must not be repeated. Warnings are documented and considered in the event of future violations.
  • Temporary suspension: Removal of access to community features (forum posting, leaderboard participation, etc.) for a defined period, typically between 7 and 30 days. Game access may or may not be affected depending on the nature of the violation.
  • Permanent ban: Complete and irreversible removal from the BestUKCasualGamesHub community and platform. Applied for severe violations (as described under Section 5) or for persistent violations following prior warnings and suspensions.

We believe in proportional responses to violations. Our goal is always to rehabilitate rather than punish where that is possible and appropriate. However, we will not allow the wellbeing of the many to be compromised for the sake of individuals who persistently disregard these guidelines.

Changes to Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes to our platform, community norms, or applicable legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will post a notice on the platform and update the "Last reviewed" date below. Continued participation in the community after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.

We encourage all members to review these guidelines periodically so they remain familiar with the current standards.
